Bodega
The Bodega Series combines a flexible, ribbed body with oversized twin Ridge Tails for a flowing creature bait presentation. The broad tails sweep and separate as the bait lifts, then flex and trail behind it through the fall.
Available in 3.5-inch, 4.8-inch, and 6.5-inch sizes, the Bodega covers compact jig trailers, everyday Texas rigs, and larger flipping presentations. Fish it around grass and wood or work it across offshore structure with slow pulls and short hops.
01 Ribbed Body. Flowing Tails.
The long, flattened tails bend and sweep as the bait changes direction. Short lifts open the profile, while slow pulls let the tails flow behind the body for a controlled presentation.
The ribbed body flexes during drags, hops, and light shakes while moving water along the bait. The textured surface also provides additional area for holding applied scent.
Slender side appendages add smaller movements alongside the broad tails. Light rod input brings the body, legs, and tails into motion without requiring a fast retrieve.
02 Flip Cover. Drag Structure.
Rig the Bodega straight with the hook point protected and target grass pockets, brush, laydowns, and docks. Let it fall, then use a short lift or shake to move the tails before pitching to the next opening.
Thread the body onto a compatible jig, keeping the side appendages and tails clear of the keeper and skirt. Match the bait size to the jig for a compact trailer or a fuller presentation.
Use controlled pulls and pauses around points, ledges, and bottom transitions. Give the bait room to move behind the weight, allowing the tails to flex as it rises and settles.
Work rock and hard bottom with slow, steady pulls. Pause at changes in the bottom, then add a short lift to reposition the bait and bring the tails back into motion.
03 Choose Your Profile
Choose the smallest model for downsized rigs, compact jig trailers, and pressured fish when you want flowing tail action with less overall profile.
A versatile middle size for Texas rigs, flipping and pitching, jig trailers, and bottom presentations across a wide range of cover and depths.
Step up when you want more body, longer tails, and added presence. Fish it around heavy cover or offshore structure when a substantial creature bait matches the presentation you need.
04 Build Your Setup
Pair the Bodega with a jig for a trailer presentation, or choose a compatible hook and weight for Texas-rigged applications. Match the hook to the bait size, leaving room for the body to compress and the tails to move freely.
