Give bass a different look with the HuzzBug’s deeply ribbed body and flexible, spade-tipped legs. The flattened tips catch water to create subtle movement as the bait falls or moves along the bottom. Crawl it, hop it, or slow down and let the legs work on the descent.

01 Built to Move Water

The elongated body features deep ribbing that adds texture and water displacement. Slender, flexible legs extend into broad, spade-shaped tips that catch water as the bait moves and changes direction.

The combination gives you a substantial body profile with subtle leg action for slow retrieves and bottom-contact presentations.

02 Let the Fall Do the Work

As the HuzzBug settles through the water, its spade-tipped legs respond with a subtle quiver. The flattened tips catch water during the descent, adding action between rod movements.

Adjust your weight to change the fall rate, and allow enough pause time for the bait to settle before moving it again. Use short hops or slow drags to work through your target area.

03 Rig It Your Way
Texas Rig · Work Through Cover

Use a weedless Texas-rig setup to fish around vegetation and cover. Match your hook to the bait size and adjust the weight for the depth and fall rate you want.

Free Rig or Carolina Rig · Work the Bottom

Fish it on a Free Rig or Carolina rig for dragging, crawling, and hopping presentations. Vary the pace and pauses to change how the legs respond as you move across the bottom.

Match Your Profile

Choose the 3.0-inch model for a compact presentation, the 4.5-inch for a middle-sized profile, or the 5.5-inch when you want a larger target.

04 Build Your Setup

Match the hook and weight to your HuzzBug size, cover, and rigging method. Explore these pairing options for your setup.

Neko rig CRUSHES them especially in ponds with terrestrial forage especially dragonfly’s, first day with it caught two 3+ fish so dont think its gotta be a little fairy wand bait, also more durable then I was expecting !

Huzzbug = bass crack…. Fished it on a belly weighted Ewg and the actions calls them in from all around.

I have been using these for almost a month now, and these thing catch fish!! Slow dragging on the bottom with a few hops, Texas rigged with a 1/0 tusk wide gap, have been the ticket. Have yet to go out one time and not get lit up on this lure, you guys have produced a fish catcher with this one. Confidence on day one.

A little disappointed with this offering from 6th Sense. With the most obvious technique (to me) being the drop shot, I would have liked to see a more buoyant material to float a small light-wire hook. They would also be better serving their customers if they packaged these baits in a clamshell or tray to prevent the appendages from bending (most of the baits I received were misshapen due to collective packaging.
Color and profile are winners, I just think they could deliver a better bait with a few changes.
Still love the brand and will continue to buy my favorites and try new offerings.

The bug to rule them all. The only problem with it is you catch everything from cats to bass

I have yet to try the 5.5 version but the smaller ones weren’t my preference I am not much of a finesse fisher but I think they will work really well for crappie

The Huzz Bug is a great soft plastic for working around cover and structure. Its compact profile and natural movement make it look like an easy meal for bass. I especially like how versatile it is—you can flip it, pitch it, or work it along the bottom when bass are holding tight.
