The MagBoosa 8.0 gives you a thick-bodied, 8-inch worm for larger bottom presentations. Its alternating ribs add flexibility and water displacement, while the tapered, ringed tail responds to short pulls and light shakes. Texas rig it around brush, drag it on a Carolina rig, or work it on a shakey head or swing head around points, ledges, and rock.
01 More Body. Flexible Action.
The MagBoosa’s thicker body adds bulk to your worm presentation. Alternating ribs move water as you work the bait and let the body flex during lifts, drags, and changes in direction.
The body narrows into a tapered, ringed tail for a more subtle finish. Use small rod movements to work the rear section, then pause before repositioning. The ribbed surface also provides space for holding applied scent.
02 Choose Your Bottom Presentation
Rig the body straight with the hook point protected. Match the weight to depth and cover, then use controlled lifts and short pulls beside brush piles, wood, and vegetation edges.
Use slow pulls to move the worm behind the weight across points, flats, and offshore structure. Pause between pulls and adjust leader length to suit the bottom and presentation.
Choose a head with a hook that fits the thicker body. Use light shakes and short drags around isolated rock, brush, or ledge edges, allowing pauses between movements.
Pair it with a compatible swing head and retrieve slowly across rock and other hard bottom. Maintain bottom contact while letting the worm flex behind the head.
03 Build Your Setup
Match your hook to the MagBoosa’s thicker body, leaving enough clearance for it to compress on the hookset. Choose weight based on depth, cover, and the fall rate you want.
