The Boosa 6.5 Shakey Worm combines an alternating ribbed body with a long, tapered tail for flexible movement during slow bottom presentations. Light shakes and short drags work the body without requiring an aggressive retrieve. Fish it on a shakey head around rock and points, Texas rig it beside brush, or use a swing head to cover longer stretches of bottom.
01 Alternating Ribs. Full-Body Flex.
Alternating ribs flare along the body before tapering into a slender, ringed tail. This shape allows the worm to flex as you shake, lift, or drag it, while the ribs add water displacement and surface area for holding applied scent.
Work it with small movements, then pause before repositioning. The flexible rear section responds to rod input and water movement, letting you keep the presentation controlled around individual targets.
02 Work the Bottom Your Way
Rig it straight on a suitable shakey head and use light shakes beside rock, brush, or dock posts. Alternate short drags with pauses to work the worm without quickly pulling it away from the target.
Use a compatible worm hook with the point protected, and match your weight to depth and cover. Work it with controlled lifts and short pulls around wood, vegetation edges, and brush.
Pair it with a compatible swing head and use a slow retrieve or short pulls across hard bottom. Choose enough head weight to maintain bottom contact while leaving the worm free to flex behind the hook.
03 Build Your Setup
Recommended starting points include a shakey head with a 4/0 or 5/0 hook, or a 4/0 or 5/0 JUGULAR or STOUT hook for Texas rigging. Check the fit so the body sits straight and has enough clearance to compress on the hookset.
