The Glitch 3.8 is a compact finesse minnow that responds to small twitches with subtle, irregular movement. Its flat belly and balanced body help support a horizontal baitfish presentation when properly rigged. Fish it on a hover rig, jighead, or drop shot when bass are following small forage and you want to slow the presentation down.
01 Small Inputs. Irregular Movement.
The Glitch’s action comes from short, irregular movements that imitate nervous baitfish. Light rod twitches, changes in line tension, and water movement work the responsive body without requiring a fast retrieve.
A flat belly supports the balanced profile, while molded baitfish detail and an integrated scent formula round out the presentation. Keep the bait centered on the hook, and alternate small movements with pauses.
02 Choose Your Finesse Approach
Rig the Glitch straight on a suitable hover setup. Use short lifts and small twitches to work it through the depth where fish are holding, then pause between movements. Adjust weight and line control to suit the depth and conditions.
Thread it onto a compatible jighead with the body aligned and the tail unrestricted. Use a slow swim with occasional light twitches, adjusting head weight and retrieve speed to control depth.
Nose hook the bait and position the weight below it. Use small shakes and pauses around rock, vegetation edges, or other bottom structure, moving the weight only when you are ready to reposition.
When using forward-facing sonar, watch how fish react before adding more movement. Adjust the pace and length of your pauses to their response.
03 Build Your Setup
Match your hook to the Glitch’s compact body and selected rigging method. For drop-shot presentations, choose a weight suited to your depth, wind, and bottom conditions.
