Super Sweep
The Super Sweep 5.3 builds on the Sweep’s full-bodied profile with a redesigned tail for stronger kick and more pronounced body roll. Swim it slowly along grass lines or speed up to cover flats and open water. An integrated hook slot supports weedless rigging on a keel-weighted hook, letting you bring that action around vegetation and cover.
01 A More Active Swim
The redesigned tail creates a pronounced kick that carries movement through the body. Compared with the original Sweep, the Super Sweep delivers more roll and a wider swimming action while maintaining balance across different retrieve speeds.
Its full baitfish shape, molded 3D scale texture, lifelike eyes, and realistic finishes add forage detail to the moving profile.
02 Set the Pace
Use a slow, steady retrieve along vegetation edges and over submerged grass. Match hook weight and retrieve speed to keep the bait swimming above the cover.
Increase your retrieve speed to cover larger stretches of water. Check the bait beside the boat or bank to confirm it stays aligned and swims cleanly at your chosen pace.
Add a short twitch or brief pause near individual targets, then resume the swim. Allow room around wood and brush, and adjust your retrieve to guide the bait past the cover.
03 Build Your Setup
The integrated hook slot accommodates up to a 7/0 keel-weighted hook. Rig the body straight with the hook point protected for fishing around grass, brush, and submerged wood.
Choose enough hook gap to clear the body on the hookset, and match the hook’s weight to your depth and retrieve speed. Keep the tail unrestricted and recheck alignment after a bite or contact with cover.
