THE WHY:
The Micro Fiction 1.5 was born from collaborations with some of the best crappie anglers in the game. They told us that when the bite gets tough—pressured fish, finicky feeders—a micro-sized plastic on a light jig head can out fish even live bait. We listened, took notes, and went to work designing a bait that could do just that.
The Micro Fiction 1.5 is a compact, hyper-responsive soft plastic bait designed for finesse presentations to target crappie and other panfish throughout all seasons. Every detail reflects the craftsmanship 6th Sense is known for— a split dorsal fin for hook alignment, forked tail for a subtle kick, rounded nose to fit jig heads, and a compact profile that triggers bites when nothing else will. It’s not just a tiny bait; it’s a precision tool built with intent.
THE HOW:

The Micro Fiction 1.5 is designed to fish with light jig heads (1/64oz – 1/16oz) and 2-8 lb test line, allowing it to exhibit a natural presentation while falling, swimming, or jigging.

Adapt the Micro Fiction 1.5 to target any depth or structure by adding a Splitball Lead Split Shot, slip sinker rig, or even just a Gyro Swivel can be enough.

It’s compact profile and streamlined shape make the Micro Fiction 1.5 a perfect candidate for shooting under docks and overhangs — a deadly technique for targeting fish holding in the shade. The small size helps it skip effortlessly across the water for pinpoint presentations.

It’s extremely effective around shallow cover. Work it around brush, stumps, trees, or shallow vegetation. The compact size paired with a gentle twitch or jig can trigger bites without spooking the shallows.
