The Boosa 9.6 pairs a full-sized worm profile with a long ribbon tail that sweeps through the water as you work it. Its alternating ribbed body adds flexibility and water displacement, giving you movement on the fall and retrieve. Texas rig it around grass and wood, drag it on a Carolina rig, or pair it with a swing head to work rock and offshore structure.
01 Ribbed Body. Sweeping Tail.
The Boosa’s alternating ribs let the body flex during lifts, drags, and changes in direction. The textured surface also provides space for holding applied scent.
A long ribbon tail extends behind the body and finishes in a small ringed tip. The broad, flexible tail creates a sweeping action as the worm falls or moves forward, adding movement to a slow presentation.
02 Work Cover or Cover Bottom
Rig the body straight on a suitable worm hook with the point protected. Match the weight to depth and cover, then use controlled lifts and pauses beside grass edges, laydowns, and brush. Keep the ribbon tail free of the hook.
Use slow pulls to move the worm behind the weight across points, flats, and offshore structure. Pause between pulls, adjusting your pace and leader length to the conditions.
Pair it with a compatible swing head and retrieve slowly enough to maintain bottom contact. Use steady movement or short pulls to work the ribbon tail as the head crosses the bottom.
03 Build Your Setup
Choose a hook that fits the ribbed body and leaves enough clearance for a hookset. Match your weight or head to the depth, cover, and retrieve, keeping the long tail unrestricted.
