Option
The Option is a soft-body swimbait that lets you choose where the treble hook rides. Its harness-style rigging supports top or bottom placement, so you can adjust for open water or nearby cover. A tall baitfish profile, pronounced swimming roll, and oversized kicking tail deliver an active presentation in three sizes from 3.75 to 7 inches.
01 Choose Where the Hook Rides
Position the treble beneath the body for open-water retrieves and presentations with room below the bait. This configuration leaves the hook exposed underneath as you swim past structure or through open lanes.
Move the treble to the top when swimming over grass or alongside brush and laydowns. Keeping the hook above the body reduces contact beneath the bait. Guide it past cover with clearance for the exposed treble.
After changing configurations, check that the harness and hook sit correctly and the tail moves freely. Make a short retrieve beside the boat or bank to confirm the bait swims cleanly before casting.
02 Tail Kick. Body Roll.
The oversized tail kicks as the Option moves forward, working with the tall body to create a pronounced rolling swim. A steady retrieve activates the bait without requiring repeated rod twitches.
Start slowly, then vary your speed and sink time to control depth. Sculpted fins, three-dimensional scale texture, lifelike eyes, and detailed forage finishes complete the baitfish presentation.
03 Choose Your Profile
Choose the compact model to match smaller forage or downsize your swimbait presentation while retaining the Option’s tall body and adjustable hook placement.
The middle size offers a fuller baitfish profile for fishing points, grass edges, shoreline cover, and open water. Choose hook placement for the path you intend to swim.
Step up when bass are feeding on larger forage or when you want a more substantial silhouette. Match your rod’s lure rating and the rest of your tackle to the heavier bait.
