Lee Livesay - 8th Place Bassmaster Elite Series Lake Champlain
Bassmaster Elite series pro, and Team 6 member, Lee Livesay recently notched an 8th place finish on Lake Champlain. The Splashback 70 in ‘Bluegill Fire’ and a Dogma 115 in ‘French Bone Pearl’ helped Lee target a mixed bag of smallmouth and largemouth. Livesay utilized a pattern of fishing these baits around dock pilings to catch key fish during each day of competition.
This event marks Lee’s third top-10 finish of the 2021 Bassmaster Elite Series season and has him sitting 7th place overall in Angler of The Year standings. We would like to wish Lee the best of luck going into the final Bassmaster Elite Series event of the year.

Hugh Cosculluela - 1st Place BFL Lake St. Clair
Team 6 Member Hugh Cosculluela recently notched a first-place finish in the Phoenix Bass Fishing League event on Lake St. Clair. During this event he utilized a two-pronged approach of a Flush 5.2 and Divine Swimbait to find success.
The day of competition started off with high winds and cloud cover. In these conditions Hugh used a 4.4” Divine Swimbait in ‘Shad Scream’ rigged on a 7/16th ounce Divine Swimbait Jig head. This set up allowed him to cover water quickly and pick off scattered groups of fish. As the day progressed, the winds subsided, and the sun began to come out allowing him to utilize a drop shot. Coscuella’s dropshot setup consisted of a ‘Baby Crappie’ Flush 5.2 rigged on a 12”-18” leader which allowed his bait to have a more natural action. This rig was his key to success in the last hours of the tournament where he found a school and caught most of the fish that made up his 23-pound limit of smallmouth.
With this win, Hugh is currently sitting at the top of the AOY standings for the Michigan division of the Phoenix Bass Fishing League. We would like to congratulate him on this achievement and wish him the best of luck in the rest of his tournaments this year!
