Hangover
Developed with Ben Milliken, the Hangover is a 6.25-inch soft-body line-through swimbait built for bass feeding on larger forage. Its internally weighted body and kicking paddle tail deliver a balanced swim on a slow, steady retrieve. Choose Medium Sink or Fast Sink to match your depth, with an included top-mounted 1/0 treble completing the presentation.
01 Big-Bait Profile. Balanced Swim.
The Hangover combines a substantial baitfish body with a paddle tail that kicks as the rear section flexes. A triple internal weight system helps keep the bait balanced, supporting controlled swimming at slow retrieve speeds.
Swim it above offshore structure, along grass edges, or through open water where bass are feeding on larger baitfish. Molded fins, gill detail, 3D eyes, and lifelike finishes complete the forage profile.
02 Choose Your Sink Rate
Choose the slower-falling model when fishing higher in the water column or when you want more time during the descent and between retrieve movements.
Listed fall rate: 0.85 seconds per foot.
Use the faster-falling model to reach deeper fish sooner and maintain a deeper presentation on a slow retrieve. Count it down before swimming it above the structure or fish you’re targeting.
Listed fall rate: 0.65 seconds per foot.
03 Fish It with Control
Let the bait sink to your intended depth, then begin a slow, steady swim. Adjust retrieve speed and sink time to follow the depth fish are holding or keep the bait above bottom structure.
The top-mounted treble positions the hook above the body as the bait swims. Guide it over grass and past wood, leaving enough clearance for the exposed hook.
An optional nail weight inserted into the soft belly can increase sink rate and change the swimming angle. Make small adjustments and check the action beside the boat or bank.
The belly eyelet provides an additional attachment point. Check balance and tracking after changing hooks or adding hardware.
04 Build Your Setup
Match your rod’s lure rating to the selected model’s 2.7- or 2.9-ounce weight. The Hangover includes a 1/0 treble; explore these hook and rod options for replacements or setup adjustments.
